It Began With a Return Home…
Saving Lives Pakistan began with a journey back to the country where I was born. I was born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, but my life eventually carried me across the world to America. Years later, after my own life had been profoundly changed by encountering Jesus, I returned carrying something very different with me—a desire to share the love and hope that had transformed my own story.
I could not have known then what God would build from those first steps. What began as a ministry trip became relationships, and those relationships became years of returning—to villages, churches, brick-kiln communities, schools, homes, and families whose stories became deeply woven into my own.
We Kept Coming Back
We believe lasting love looks like returning. For more than a decade, we have continued walking alongside communities throughout Pakistan—watching children grow, praying with families, worshiping in churches, standing beside local pastors and teachers, and listening to what communities truly need.
Those needs shaped the work. With 25.1 million Pakistani children ages 5–16 out of school, education became impossible to ignore. Sewing schools grew from a desire to give women practical skills and opportunity. Schools and educational support grew from relationships with children in brick-kiln communities. Adult literacy, clean-water wells, Bible distribution, meals, and children’s Gospel gatherings followed. Different needs. Different communities. But the heart underneath them remains the same: sharing Jesus and loving people well.
More Than a Mission Trip
This was never meant to be about arriving for a few days, doing something impressive, taking photographs, and leaving. It is about knowing people’s names. Returning to the same communities. Sitting with families. Listening before deciding what is needed. And standing alongside trusted Pakistani pastors, teachers, and leaders who understand their communities far better than we ever could.
In a country where Christians represent just 1.37% of the population, these relationships matter deeply. Some needs can be met in a day. Others require years of faithful investment. We want to be present for both.
Helping Families Write a Better Story
Today, Saving Lives Pakistan is growing, but our heart remains deeply personal. We want children to discover that poverty does not have to determine the boundaries of their future. We want women to have opportunities to learn, earn, and provide for their families. We want communities to have clean water and access to education. We want local Christian leaders encouraged and equipped. And above everything, we want people to encounter the extraordinary love of Jesus.
Every school opened, every sewing machine placed into a classroom, every well dug, every Bible shared, every meal served, and every child gathered to hear the Gospel becomes another small part of a much larger story. A story of hope. A story of dignity. A story of lives being changed—one person, one family, and one community at a time.
